  • Day 1: Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park

    Start your day with a hearty breakfast and then set off on a town tour to pick up essentials like sunscreen, insect repellent, and any personal items you might need. The day's highlight is a wildlife and cultural expedition. Along the Arusha to Dodoma Road in the Babati district, you will have the opportunity to meet the Barbaig (Mang'ati) people, who lead a hunter-gatherer lifestyle. In the afternoon, take a moment to admire the diverse landscapes in the Hanang area. After lunch, visit a Man'gati village to gain insight into the historical, social, environmental, and political aspects of the Man'gati community. Discover their fascinating history, social structure, customs, relationship with the environment, and the current political challenges they are confronting.

  • Day 2: Bargaig (Man'gati) Experience

    Start your day with a hearty breakfast, then join a knowledgeable local guide to explore the diverse and unspoiled landscapes of Hanang. These stunning vistas showcase Tanzania's remarkable geological diversity, filling you with awe and wonder. Take a leisurely morning stroll in Hanang to marvel at its abundant wildlife. After a satisfying lunch and a short break, we set off on a culturally enriching and historically informative trek through the region. This may involve visiting historical sites, engaging with local communities, or delving into discussions about the area's cultural heritage. Wrap up your day with an overnight stay at a local camp, lodge, or hotel.

  • Day 3: Visit Mto wa Mbu

    After breakfast, take a quick tour of the town to pick up any last-minute safari items before making your way to Mto wa Mbu. Immerse yourself in the local culture and take part in community activities. These authentic experiences will make you feel genuinely connected to the local community. After lunch, continue your journey to the breathtaking Lake Eyasi, where you can enjoy an evening stroll and spend the night at a local camp, lodge, or hotel.

  • Day 4: Lake Eyasi – Preserving Unique Cultures

    After breakfast, delve into the sociological and historical aspects of the Bushmen. This may involve conversations about their social structure, traditional roles and responsibilities, or the historical events that have influenced their culture. Trek through diverse terrains on foot, accompanied by your knowledgeable guide, who will enrich your journey with valuable insights. Share a bush lunch with the Bushmen and your guide. Later, explore the northern Lake Eyasi, immersing yourself in the history and lifestyle of the Bushmen. The day ends with an overnight stay in the area.

  • Day 5: Visiting the Hadzabe Villages

    After your morning meal, you will be guided by a local expert through various Bushmen villages, each with its own unique characteristics and vibrant cultural traditions. These villages are overseen by their leadership but collectively owned by all members, offering an intriguing glimpse into their social hierarchy and community life. Following lunch, you will have the opportunity to interact with the Hadzabe, who maintain a traditional lifestyle of hunting and gathering, distinct from the typical tourist routes. You will spend the night at a local camp, lodge, or hotel.

  • Day 6: Hunting Trip

    Start your day with a hunting lesson from the Bushmen, then put your skills to the test with a practical hunting experience in the bush. You'll gain insights into traditional hunting techniques, game tracking, and using bushcraft to prepare your catch.

  • Day 7: Hunting Trip

    Embark on an exciting journey with the Bushmen guides for a full-day wildlife hunting and honey-gathering expedition. This unique experience allows one to learn traditional hunting techniques track game and prepare for the hunt. Despite the Hadzabe's focus on meat, their diet primarily consists of vegetarian fare, including honey and fruits. With the guidance of your experienced guide, participate in the hunt and prepare a bush barbecue, which you can later share with the village.

  • Day 8: Hadzabe Women

    Experience a day with Hadzabe women as they forage for roots, tubers, and berries. Delve deep into the uses of various plants and immerse yourself in their rich cultural knowledge. Gain profound insights into the intricate relationship between humans and local biodiversity, guided by the knowledgeable Hadzabe women.

  • Day 9: Visit Around the Rift Valley Escarpment

    Take your leave from the Hadzabe community as you journey through the lowlands to the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment, which leads to the vast Serengeti Savannah Plains. Delve deeply into the interaction between humans and the local biodiversity, primarily through the insights of the devoted Hadzabe women.

  • Day 10: Arusha

    On your way back to Arusha, you'll pass through the Karatu district via the Ngorongoro Highlands, and we'll stop for lunch at Mto wa Mbu. You can then unwind and watch the tranquil sunset at Lake Duluti or Oldonyo Sambu before spending your final night at a nearby lodge or hotel.
