Set off on a 7-day safari adventure through Tanzania, exploring some of the nation’s top destinations for observing wildlife. Your journey will take you from the picturesque shores of Lake Manyara to the iconic baobab trees and elephants of Tarangire, through the world-renowned Serengeti, and into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater.
Travelling in a small, intimate group of no more than seven travellers, you’ll benefit from the extensive knowledge of your experienced guide, who will enlighten you about the local flora, fauna, and cultural life. Take a moment to step outside the vehicle and delve into one of Tanzania’s critical industries by walking through a coffee plantation in Karatu.

You will drive from Arusha for two hours and arrive at the Tarangire National Park, known for its lush bush savannahs, seasonal marshes, and elephants. The park is also home to zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and predators like lions. After enjoying the stunning landscape and observing the wildlife, you will drive to Lake Burunge Tented Lodge for the night.
You'll journey from the Tarangire Area to the Lake Manyara National Park. This park is renowned for its diverse wildlife, with over 400 bird species, primates in the forests, animals like giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas, as well as lively monkeys and baboons. The park's alkaline Lake Manyara is breathtaking, serving as the seasonal breeding ground for giant flamingos and other waterfowl colonies. You'll spend the night at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, where meals will be provided.
The distance is approximately 200 km, with a driving time of 4-6 hours. After breakfast, you'll head to the southern Serengeti. By midday, you'll reach Serengeti National Park, known for its diverse habitats and annual wildebeest migration. You'll stay at the Kati Kati Tented Camp and be provided with meals.
You'll spend the day on game drives in Serengeti National Park, observing wildlife and following the migrating herds. Your guide will know the best spots for observing the animals. You'll stay overnight at the Kati Kati Tented Camp, where meals are provided.
The distance is approximately 170 km, with a driving time of 4-6 hours. Depart from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the early afternoon. Once you arrive at the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, you'll be captivated by the stunning view. Later, head towards Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands. During your stay, take a guided walk through a coffee plantation to discover the cultivation and processing of coffee. Spend the night at one of the three Tanganyika Wilderness Adventure Lodges, where meals are provided.
Distance approx. 50 km; driving time approx. 1-2 hours Good morning! After having breakfast at daybreak, you'll head back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the crater. This volcanic region is the natural habitat of over 25,000 wild animals, including the Big Five (lion, buffalo, elephant, rhino, and leopard), hyenas, wild dogs, and hundreds of bird species. You'll enjoy an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch before departing the caldera in the afternoon and returning to your Tanganyika Wilderness Adventure Lodge for another night. The meals provided during this trip are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Distance approx. 160 km; driving time approx. 2-3 hours. After a relaxing breakfast, you will be chauffeured back to Arusha, arriving around noon. You will be dropped off in the city centre or at the airport.
